I bought the MLB and MiLB package and the MiLB package is not compatible eith any of my devices. They do not mention which devices its compatible with prior to putchase, amd you cannot even attempt to download the app until the minor league season starts (about 10 days after MLB). I have called three times to get a re fund. Everytime I've gotten a confirmation number and a promise to have a refund within 5-7 business days. It's been a month and still no refund. I will never use their service again. I do not respect poor customer service.

i tried to change my subscription and it wouldn't let me, it told me to call customer service (who NEVER picks up the phone). i then canceled my current subscription hoping i would then be able to purchase the subscription i wanted and it STILL gave me an error message telling me to contact customer service. I then created a new account and tried AGAIN to purchase the subscription i wanted and it STILL wouldn't let me, telling me to contact customer service. I can't correct the issue online, I can't reach ANYONE on the phone .... this website/company is a TOTAL JOKE.

MLB rip-off

I purchased a subscription from MLB because I wanted to watch my favorite team. I’m a Phillies fan and the Phillies games have been continuously been blacked out in my area. I live in south Florida and I’m having a difficult time understanding why the Phillies games are constantly being blacked out. I canceled my subscription and will never buy any product, subscription or service from MLB. I feel as if I was ripped off and mislead by their advertising.

You shouldn't be surprised at their actions. Anymore the only way they can pay the outrageous salaries is by sticking it to you and me.

Their fan base is in the toilet (exactly where they should be). I won't watch NFL either with their total disrespect for our flag. I have also cancelled my Disney channel since they hired that jerk Kapernick. If he hates America so much, go back to your roots.

Worked last year - not this year - refund refused

MLB.TV worked on our LG TV last year, this year not at all. We tried for two weeks, no good. We asked for a refund - got a one line email...no refund - though the guy taking the cancellation said a refund would be authorized. They closed the account, we can't use the product and we can't get a refund. The "off shore" customer service has no ability to speak to a supervisor. So they took the money, closed off the service, and won't refund the unused amount.

MLB is a rip off, turned off access on older iPads

I have an older iPad with iOS 9. Until today, including the first games this season, it worked fine. Today 4/4/2019 it states I no longer have a working account. Called the *** at MLB support, said they turned off support on older iOS devices. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WORKING - THEY JUST TURNED IT OFF! I love baseball nut the jerks running it are the worst! They just rip consumers off and do not give a damn!

Refund Policy

I received a charge on my credit card statement of an "automatic" renewal of last season MLB TV subscription. First, there should not be an automatic renewal.

Second, in order to get a full refund I was told I needed to cancel 5 days from date of transaction. The charge occurred on 2/28 (many days before opening day) and I did not receive my credit card statement until 30+ days from date of transaction. This policy gives the consumer a very small window to cancel. Instead the policy should be tied to the season.

I emailed and called to cancel during opening week of the season; therefore, watched 0 games. A full refund should occur.

The refund policy is terrible and the customer service is terrible.

I emailed requesting the refund and had zero response. So i finally called and after a 30+ minute wait I finally was able to speak to someone.

For "America's Pastime" this is terrible customer relations!

Same happened to me. They took out $118.99 on March 1st as an auto renewal.

I was ok with that because I wanted the service but went in later to cancel future auto renewals. I go to tune in opening day and I was told to sign up. I called and they said I cancelled the service. Which apparently cancelling future auto renewals is canceling the current subscription??

Anyway the dude on the phone said I’d get a refund in 5 business days. That call was on March 29th. I call today and the lady on the phone said I’d canceled my subscription and they never received payment. Well the $118.99 has been gone from my back account since March 1st.

Who has the money? It’s either them or me and my account shows money paid out and never returned. Big-time scam. Avoid this service at all costs.

They beat me last year for $113 too.

I should have learned but I figured it was a one time thing. Lesson learned!

I was thinking about subscribing, again, after not doing so in 2018. Didn't renew, last year, because of the constant, and growing, streaming issue I encountered over the previous three years. I have a Roku device which I'm not going to replace. It works fine with Netflix, Hulu, ESPN app, etc. I then read the reviews and it seems very little, if nothing, has changed regarding the freezing, buffering, etc.; reception issues. It's a shame. I'll do without MLB.TV, again, in 2019. M.R.

No More Flashback videos please

I am really tired of the constantly repeated flashback videos between innings on my Roku box. Last year I was able to watch the games directly on my LG tv and there was just a commercial break screen. That was a lot less annoying.

2018 season was nothing but problems

I've subscribed to MLB Tv for the last three seasons and never had an issue until 2018, when the picture would consistently freeze ever 30 seconds. After several phone calls to customer support and hours of troubleshooting, they finally told me that they were having issues with certain Roku devices (which I have on all of my televisions) due to some changes to their programming platforms. They assured me that the problem would "be fixed soon". Well, the problem wasn't fixed until after the All-Star break, so I missed the first half of the season. When I asked for a partial refund for the 2018 season or even a discount for the 2019 season, I was denied. Maybe I'll just file a small claims case against them and see what happens.

My husband has had issues every year with MLB TV freezing, reloading etc. Updated the internet connection to FIOS, updated the router to an Onhub and updated the Roku to an Ultra....same problems.

We can watch in real time through the Onhub what is happening. When it locks out the rook device goes to idle, so isn't getting any signal. Then he has to reload the internet...this is a new twist to an old song in 2019.

If there was any alternative MLB TV would go out of business. Very Pissed Off Customer in Oregon

If you decide to cancel mlb.tv service, be sure to get it in writing and double check with you payment provider to ensure mlb is removed from any "recurring charges". I called mlb in June of 2018 to cancel my subscription. In February of 2019, they charged my paypal account for $91.99 for a new season, which I didn't want. I have now spent approximately 6 hours writing emails trying to get my money back for a service I did not want. MLB representatives will lie over the phone. Get cancellations in writing. Make sure to block MLB from getting access to paypal or credit card accounts. Be warned. They are liars and thieves.
